Attended by 255 people, our major fundraiser was hailed universally as a fabulous success. Eager bidders at both silent and live auctions were enveloped by the warm spirit of Mercy Center. The center's logo and images of its people appeared on TV screens throughout the venue as everyone enjoyed happy laughter, good cheer, satisfied appetites, friendly conversation, and renewed commitment to the women and families we serve.

Generous contributors of items for auction allowed revenues to far  exceed our expectations! And successful bidders went home with everything including restaurant gift certificates (to popular spots including Bouley and Tribeca Grill), sports tickets (to the Yankees, Mets, Nets, US Open, and even the Super Bowl) and memorabilia, tickets to cultural attractions, and original works of art (including a watercolor painted by the founder of Mercy Center, Sr. Mary Ann Dirr, RSM).
