About Lynda Baquero

Lynda Baquero has served in various anchor/reporter positions at News Channel 4 since 1998. For two years, she served as host of "Hispanics Today," a monthly look at Hispanic business in the United States. She is the recipient of a 1998 local Emmy award for "Religious Programming" for her reports on the Pope’s visit to Cuba and received her second Emmy award in 2006 for "Best Evening Newscast" with Chuck Scarborough. Mercy Center honors Ms. Baquero for her professional successes and her commitment to highlighting the accomplishments of the Hispanic community.
