A documentary film, followed by Q&A with
producer, Abigail E. Disney. This is the gripping
account of a group of brave and visionary women who
demanded peace for Liberia, a nation torn to shreds by a
decades old civil war. Doors will open at 6:30pm, the
screening will begin at 7:00pm, and the Q&A session will
follow around 8:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.

A multi-layered celebration of the
richness and diversity of the Circle of Mercy.
Begins at 1:00pm with hors d'oeuvres from around the
globe and
continues with music and live entertainment. Don't
miss this opportunity to see old Mercy Center
friends and to make new ones. This event is for
adults only and attendees are asked to wear
something that reflects the colors, costume or
feeling of your native country.

Woods in Hartsdale, NY) to reflect on Mercy Center's
mission of Mercy in the South Bronx and the life and
work of Catherine McAuley, the 19th century founder
of the Sisters of Mercy.

Using the life of Catherine McAuley
and the role of tea in hospitality and
community-building, Mercy Center will host an
afternoon High Tea with a Mercy Sister and Mercy
Associate leading ritual and reflection.
