·         Employment - Yes! aims to enhance the job readiness of women in the area we serve by assisting them in obtaining meaningful employment and supporting their ongoing success.  It includes computer training, office skills, entrepreneurial basics, self-esteem building, resume writing, and interviewing practice.

 Specific programs include:
 

o    Computer Basics, Keyboarding, Introduction to Word and Excel, and Advanced Word and Excel

o    Office and Administrative Assistant Trainings, 12-week courses that provide further training to high school graduates in basic grammar, computer basics (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook), resume preparation and job interview readiness, leading to employment in clerical, reception, and office positions.

o    Job Development, a comprehensive effort to locate suitable jobs in the metropolitan area for Mercy Center women, and to prepare women to apply for and receive these jobs.
