6th Annual Cocktail
Gala and Auction |
Over 300 people
gathered on April 14th at The Boathouse in Central Park for a
spectacular evening.
Mercy
Center honored Abigail E. Disney, President of the Daphne Foundation, who
accepted the honor with inspiring remarks about what Mercy Center means to
her. To make the event a success, friends of
Mercy
Center
came together with a level of generosity we could only dream of. We raised
over $167,500 after expenses, thanks to everyone who donated prizes, bought
tickets, purchased journal ads, donated funds, and gave generously of their
time and expertise. Special thanks go to our Board of Advisors, who work
tirelessly for months every year to plan this event, and especially to our
Auction Co-Chairs Diane Vezza and Mary Theresa McCombe.
If you
were unable to attend, here's a quick look at the evening. We hope to see
you next year! |
